The GPT business model is the answer to the biggest
challenges facing network marketers/ MLM distributors today.
With the increasing use of the internet information has never
been easier to find! Just bring up any search engine today and
do a search for any business opportunity by name and you will
bring up hundreds of other competing opportunities.
Making money online has become hugely popular and outside of
the obvious casino secrets and other dubious business systems
there lies an underbelly of multi level marketers looking to
promote their brand, their products, their services and their
opportunity online. In the mix are another rich seam of
information marketers looking to serve you information that
will help you in your journey, all good stuff.

Very High Attrition Rate
The author believes that it all starts in the beginning, an
obvious statement, but let me explain. When network marketers
start out many, if not most, will start to build a list of
"warm market" contacts, consisting of friends, family and
work colleagues. Once this list has been approached ( usually
badly) the distributor will go on to the system favoured by
their upline or sponsor. Most will have a 'Rods In The Pond'
type training promoting techniques and strategy's to generate
leads for their opportunity. Many of these techniques will be
offline but increasingly network marketers are turning to the
internet.
Now it's a common view born from statistics that 97% will
fail in their opportunity. Theres no argument that the failure
rate is huge!. The truth is that many of those prospects were
never really looking to be in business in the first place. They
may have been sold a get rich mentality that feeds their
mistaken belief that riches can come quickly and easily
by joining a network marketing opportunity. As soon as the
going gets tough they quit or they start looking for an easier.
bigger and better opportunity, either way ultimately they are
gone!.
The constant attrition of people in a network marketing
business means that you as a distributor will be constantly
placing people into your pipeline always looking to put more in
than leave, if more leave than you put in then your business is
shrinking, full stop.
Small Commissions
The promise of royalty bonus's for many is just that a
promise! Most will never actually experience a true royalty
based income that is walk away!. ie the money keeps on rolling
in year after year. The facts are that most commision cheques
are very small and the market tends to have a fake it till you
make it mentality. Most distributors will work their business
or opportunity part time and if they have a strong retail
income it will just about cover the expense's incurred running
their business. Most do not! and actually support their mlm
business from their full time job!.
It takes a strong vision of future success to drive a
distributor through this phase of their business growth, most
will quit at this point.
Other Opportunities
It's only natural for a distributor, once they have been
sold the concept of networking, to look for tools, training and
coaching to help them build their opportunity. The internet has
become the worlds number 1 depository of information, and as
more network marketers seek out information they quickly
realise that they are not alone!
Do a quick search on any major search engine for any
business opportunity and you will find millions of results.
Adverts competing for space, new opportunities, free
information, reports etc. A minefield of information that can
inform and add value just as it can misguide and detract from
your business efforts.
Most network marketers have been in more than one
opportunity, and most will be in another at some time in the
future. Fact!

opportunity, it's a business model. It centre's around
top tier opportunities typically costing between £1000 and
£2000 to get started. The commission made on a top tier
opportunity is around 50% resulting in a much larger
commission per customer in this example £1000.
Network marketers would need to build a large downline of
around 100 to 300 (active) distributors in order to generate a
sizeable income of £5000 per month. This would take around 2 to
5 years in a good program. With GPT the same income would be
generated for only 5 sales.
Top Tier Opportunities attract Top Tier Prospects!. This is
the authors favourite concept in the GPT model. A higher
financial threshhold to getting involved separates the wheat
from the chaff. Tyre kickers and time wasters run a mile when
they realise they have to make a financial committment. This
for me anyway is a great thing, ask any successfull network
marketer what their number 1 waste of time is and they will
tell you it was working with the wrong people!.
Serious Money attracts serious people, and for those looking
to make £50K+ within 12 months it really is the only serious
honest sell. For those who want the big MLM business, who
are struggling with attrition, increasing costs, disappearing
downline the GPT model can be used to put money into your
pocket in weeks and months as opposed to years. That money can
be used to increase advertising, support other business
ventures or invested into real fixed assets like property.
